Amy brings a unique blend of experience in farming, ranching, and advocacy for individuals with disabilities, embodying a commitment to preserving and protecting legacies. Raised on a ranch in Colorado's Front Range, Amy developed a deep-rooted passion for agriculture and community service. Amy graduated cum laude from Hastings College in 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, followed by earning her Juris Doctorate, with Distinction, from the University of Nebraska College of Law in 2021. Notable accolades include receiving the CALI Excellence Award in the Civil Clinical Law Program and being honored with the 2021 Nebraska Bar Association RISE award, a recognition presented to two Nebraska Law School Graduates annually. In 2023, Amy was nominated and selected for the Nebraska State Bar Association Leadership Academy. Complementing her legal achievements, Amy serves on the advisory board for Mosaic, an organization dedicated to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. She is also an active volunteer for the Lancaster County Tenants Assistants Project. Additionally, Amy and her husband own a business specializing in horse training and boarding. In her free time, Amy enjoys spending time with family, playing tennis, hiking, fishing, horse riding, and traveling.
