Melanie Combs

Melanie joined Legacy Design Strategies as a Paralegal in 2026 with a strong focus in collaboration. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and later completed her Paralegal Certificate from the College of Saint Mary. Melanie brings a solid background in Iowa Probate, allowing her to skillfully support attorneys and guide clients through complex legal processes.

Known for her commitment to both efficiency and empathy, Melanie is dedicated to exceeding client expectations while ensuring every matter is handled with care and attention to detail. She understands the sensitive nature of elder law and estate planning and strives to make each client feel supported and informed. Outside of the office, Melanie enjoys spending time with her husband, children, grandson, and two dogs. In her free time, she supports her son's passion for Martial Arts, enjoys going to the movie theater and relaxing in the sun.
